Nigeria’s Super Eagles were held to a 2–2 draw by Poland in an international friendly on Wednesday, in a match decided by late drama.
Terem Moffi opened scoring in the 23rd minute after finishing a well-worked attacking move to give Nigeria the lead going into halftime.
Poland equalised early in the second half through Potulski in the 46th minute, restoring parity and shifting momentum.
Nigeria regained the lead in the 77th minute when Paul Onuachu converted from the penalty spot to make it 2–1.
However, the hosts struck in stoppage time through Wiśniewski in the 95th minute to salvage a draw.
The result leaves both teams sharing the spoils after a tightly contested encounter that swung both ways until the final whistle.
