Xiaomi has unveiled the 17T and 17T Pro in Nigeria, the latest additions to its T Series lineup and the first to offer dual sizes. Both models are positioned as imaging flagships built around Leica optics, advanced displays, and large-capacity batteries.
Camera
The series features a triple camera system led by a 50MP main camera, with a 1/1.31-inch sensor on the Pro and 1/1.55-inch on the base model. Both use a Leica Summilux lens structure for high-clarity rendering and strong dynamic range.
Both models carry a Leica 5x telephoto camera for the first time in the T Series, supporting 50MP shots with OIS, 30cm macro photography, 10x optical-grade zoom, and up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom. The 17T Pro adds 4K 60fps cinematic recording, a first for the Xiaomi Series.
A new Leica Live Moment feature captures motion and expression in the moments leading up to a shot, supported across all rear focal lengths. Leica Live Portrait extends this to Portrait mode with natural bokeh. The 17T Pro also supports Ultra-HD Live Moment in 4K.
Display
Both models debut Xiaomi Vision Care, an eye-care system that adapts to ambient light and manages blue light, flicker, and motion blur. The series is the first to receive TÜV Rheinland quadruple eye-care certification. Displays feature 1.5K AMOLED panels with 3,500-nit peak brightness. The Pro offers a 144Hz refresh rate with uniform 1.29mm bezels on all four sides, while the base model runs at 120Hz in a more compact, one-hand-friendly form factor.
Battery and Performance
The 17T Pro houses a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest on a Xiaomi Series phone for international markets, with 100W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge. The 17T carries a 6,500mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge. The Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 on a 3nm process; the 17T runs the Dimensity 8500-Ultra on 4nm. Both use Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop thermal management system for sustained performance under load.

Xiaomi 17T Pro (12GB + 1TB) starts from N1,225,600, available in Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black. Xiaomi 17T (12GB + 512GB) starts from N864,100, available in Violet, Opal White, Blue, and Black.
