Kwankwaso Mourns Children of Former Bauchi Deputy Governor

Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has expressed condolences to former Bauchi State Deputy Governor Baba Tela over the death of his two children, Mustapha and Ummi, in a road accident.

Kwankwaso conveyed his sympathy in a statement posted on his verified X account, describing the incident as a heartbreaking tragedy.

“I extend my deepest condolences to Senator Baba Tela on the tragic loss of his children, Mustapha and Ummi, in a fatal road crash,” he stated.

The former governor said the incident had brought grief to the Tela family, the Katagum Emirate and the people of Bauchi State.

Mustapha and Ummi reportedly died in an accident along the Bauchi–Azare Road while returning from Azare.

Following the incident, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed also expressed sympathy with the family and prayed for the repose of the deceased.

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki similarly described the loss as painful and prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family.

The tragic incident has attracted condolences from political leaders and residents, with renewed calls for improved road safety measures across the country.

Kwankwaso prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased and urged the family to remain steadfast during the difficult period.
