Asake Unveils World Tour Dates, Set to Storm Chicago, London, Paris and More

Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, has announced a world tour that will take him across major venues in Europe and North America under the title “In God We Trust.” He shared the news himself on social media, laying out tour dates and the list of cities that will host him.

The ‘Lungu Boy’ artist revealed that the tour kicks off at Afro Nation Portugal before shifting to North America in August, where he is scheduled to perform in Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston and Los Angeles. From there, the tour heads back across the Atlantic for a European run that includes Paris, London and several other cities still to be confirmed. South African Amapiano star Uncle Waffles will join him for select dates on the North American leg.

The tour arrives on the heels of Asake’s fourth studio album, “M$NEY,” released on May 1. The project holds particular significance as his first body of work released under his own label, Giran Republic, following his departure from YBNL Nation. Fans attending the tour can expect a set list that draws from “M$NEY” as well as material from his earlier albums, “Mr Money With The Vibe,” “Work of Art” and “Lungu Boy.”

The announcement cements Asake’s status as one of Afrobeats’ most in-demand live acts, with a run of dates spanning some of the biggest stages in North America and Europe. It also signals a new chapter for the singer, whose move to establish his own label marks a shift toward greater creative and business independence after years of success under YBNL Nation. Between the new music and the scale of the touring schedule, the coming months look set to be among the busiest yet in his career, as he brings “M$NEY” and his broader catalogue to audiences well beyond Nigeria.
