Peller Wants a Small White Wedding, But Worries Bloggers Will Crash the Party Anyway

Peller is hoping his upcoming white wedding stays intimate, but he’s already bracing for a familiar problem, that is, an unexpected wave of bloggers and content creators showing up with cameras rolling.

Speaking ahead of the ceremony scheduled for Saturday, August 8, the content creator said he’s aiming for a guest list of just 80 to 100 people, a deliberate scaling down from the scale of attention his previous wedding celebration attracted. That earlier event, he admitted, had left him with a lingering concern about just how many people had turned up specifically to document it rather than celebrate it. “I see one video now, everybody giant pack. Holding phone, big, big, big like this from up. Everywhere surrounded with phone,” he said, describing the sheer number of cameras that seemed to surround the ceremony.

Peller wasn’t entirely sure how the crowd of bloggers had grown so large in the first place, floating a guess that the event planner may have been responsible for the invites rather than anyone in his own circle. “All those bloggers, I don’t know who brought them. I think it’s the event planner person that brought them. I don’t know why bloggers go plenty,” he said.

Despite the frustration over the crowd size, Peller was quick to note that the earlier celebration itself was still one he genuinely enjoyed. “But the wedding was a great one. I enjoyed it,” he said. Still, when it comes to the white wedding specifically, he’s holding firm on keeping things small. “But my white wedding is just 100 people or 80 people,” he said, signaling a clear intention to avoid a repeat of the crowded, camera-heavy atmosphere that surrounded the first event.

Peller, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, was born on May 10, 2005, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. He is of Yoruba ethnicity and currently identifies as a Christian, having converted from Islam in 2025 due to personal experienc
