Kemi Adeosun’s Husband Dies at 62

Mr. Anthony Adeniyi (Niyi) Adeosun, husband of former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, has passed away at the age of 62.

According to a statement issued by the Adeosun family, he died on Wednesday, August 5, in Lagos.

The announcement was signed by Reverend C. A. Adeosun on behalf of the family, which described the late businessman as a devoted Christian, respected entrepreneur and family man whose life was marked by integrity, generosity and unwavering faith.

The family said it was announcing the passing of its “beloved husband, father and brother with profound sorrow, yet in total submission to the will of Almighty God.”

According to the statement, Adeosun lived a life dedicated to hard work, service to God and commitment to both family and community.

He is survived by his wife, former Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun, his children, siblings and other relatives, including Mr. Adewale Adeosun, Founder of Kuramo Capital.

While mourning his passing, the family said it found comfort in the biblical assurance contained in Revelation 14:13, which speaks of the blessings of those who die in the Lord.

The family also appealed for privacy during the mourning period and disclosed that details of the funeral and Christian burial arrangements would be announced later.

It thanked friends, associates and well-wishers for their prayers, condolences and support following the loss.
