Actress Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, through adoption.
The Stranger Things star, 22, announced the arrival on Instagram with a photograph showing her and Bongiovi holding their son’s tiny hand. “hi little guy!” she captioned the post.
The new arrival comes after the couple welcomed their first child, an adopted daughter, in August 2025. At the time, Brown and Bongiovi said they were “beyond excited” to begin a new chapter as parents, while choosing to keep their daughter’s identity private.
The couple had confirmed earlier this week that they had expanded their family through another adoption, before Brown shared the first public announcement of their son’s arrival.
Adoption has long been important to Brown. The actress previously revealed that adopting a child had been one of her childhood dreams and that she had always been interested in the experiences of adoptive families.
Speaking on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast, Brown said adoption had always featured in her plans for building a family.
“I always, always wanted to adopt. It was always part of my childhood dreams,” she said.
Brown has also spoken about the possibility of having a biological child in the future, saying she views both adoption and biological parenthood as meaningful parts of the family she and Bongiovi hope to build.
The couple’s relationship began in 2021 before they became engaged in 2023. They married in Italy in May 2024.
For Brown, motherhood has been a significant personal ambition. The actress has previously spoken about wanting to become a mother and linked that desire to the importance of family in her own life.
She rose to international prominence through her role as Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things, becoming one of the show’s most recognisable young stars.
Brown and Bongiovi have generally kept their family life private, particularly the identities of their children, while occasionally sharing milestones with fans.
The arrival of their son marks another chapter in the couple’s family life as they continue to balance parenthood with their respective careers.
