Trump Threatens Strong Response if Iran Linked to Flydubai Attack Investigation

United States President Donald Trump has warned that Iran would face severe consequences if investigations establish a link between Tehran and an alleged attack involving a flydubai flight bound for Israel.

Trump made the remarks at the White House while responding to questions from reporters about claims surrounding an incident in which a co-pilot allegedly assaulted the aircraft captain before passengers intervened.

Asked whether Iran was involved, the US president said available information suggested that possibility was being examined by authorities.

“I would say the answer, based on what I’m hearing, is yes, but we’re working on it right now,” Trump said.

He added that Iran would be dealt with harshly if evidence confirmed its involvement in the incident.

The comments came amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, with Trump also adopting a tougher stance on the broader conflict involving Iran.

In an interview published by Time magazine, Trump reportedly said it remained possible that the United States could resume military operations against Iran after the country’s midterm elections.

The president reiterated previous warnings directed at Tehran, arguing that continued pressure was necessary to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

According to reports, the United States is also considering expanding its military presence in the Middle East, with plans said to include the deployment of an additional aircraft carrier and thousands of service personnel.

Iran has consistently maintained influence over the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a key global shipping route, despite months of military and diplomatic tensions involving the United States and Israel.

The latest developments underscore ongoing uncertainty surrounding regional security and the future direction of US-Iran relations as diplomatic efforts remain stalled.
