Temi Nkem has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, Show Ya Sef, taking home the N160 million grand prize after a dramatic finale on Sunday night.
The victory capped a season filled with twists, nominations and unexpected turns, with Temi overcoming several challenges on her way to the final stage.
Her biggest test came during a fake eviction twist orchestrated by Big Brother, which temporarily placed her future in the house in doubt. She survived the twist and returned to the competition, eventually establishing herself as one of the season’s leading contenders.
Temi’s victory also settled a compelling contest with Aikou, popularly known as the “Professor”. While Aikou built a reputation for his calm personality, intellect and strategic gameplay, Temi stood out for her spontaneity, entertainment value and performances.
The finale began with nine housemates still in contention, but the field was quickly reduced as the evictions unfolded.
Barry, whose real name is Muudumbari Pop-Yornwin, was the first finalist to leave. The 25-year-old Rivers State native, a civil engineer and fashion and graphic designer, had won Head of House twice and also secured the Ultimate Veto Power during the season.
Oyin, real name Oyindamola Oshikoya, followed. The 22-year-old Ogun State native is a sales entrepreneur and model.
Ricky, whose real name is Patrick Jumbo, was the next housemate evicted. The 33-year-old Rivers State native is a writer and filmmaker.
Flora, a 30-year-old makeup entrepreneur, content creator and bridal services business owner from Delta State, also exited as the finale progressed.
Tram, real name Joshua Alekewumu, was subsequently evicted. The 24-year-old Lagos-based streamer, content creator, author, YouTuber and entrepreneur left the competition with four housemates remaining.
Bluethopia, whose real name is Usaku/Keren Bantai, was the next to depart. The 22-year-old Adamawa native is a photographer, model and student.
Her eviction left Aikou, Sheba and Temi Nkem as the final three contestants battling for the season’s top prize.
Temi eventually emerged ahead of her remaining rivals, ending her Big Brother journey as the Season 11 champion.
Her triumph brings an end to another season of the reality show, with Temi now set to leave the house with the coveted N160 million prize and the title of BBNaija Season 11 winner.
