Three public appearances in less than two months have put Cardi B and Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye at the centre of growing speculation about their relationship.
The American rapper and the Udinese goalkeeper were seen together in Italy for the third time on September 3, with the latest sighting coming just hours before Okoye’s club faced Venezia in the Coppa Italia.
The pair appeared relaxed as they interacted in Italy, although there is no indication that Cardi B’s presence was connected to Okoye’s fixture. Udinese went on to beat Venezia 2-1 after coming from behind.
Their latest appearance follows two earlier encounters that have attracted considerable attention from fans and entertainment followers.
The first came in July during Paris Fashion Week, where Cardi B and Okoye were reportedly seated beside each other at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show. They were later seen talking on a balcony at a private event.
The two were subsequently spotted having dinner at a waterfront location in Venice. Cardi B reportedly spoke positively about the footballer during the outing, describing him as “really sweet and very kind.”
Despite the repeated sightings, neither celebrity has confirmed that they are romantically involved. Their public appearances have also taken place around groups of other people, making it difficult to determine the exact nature of their connection.
Okoye, 26, currently plays for Udinese and represents Nigeria at international level. Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, to a Nigerian father and German mother, he has developed his career in European football and has increasingly found himself in the spotlight away from the pitch as well.
His appearances alongside Cardi B have added another dimension to that attention, particularly given the rapper’s global profile.
For now, however, speculation remains just that. Neither Okoye nor Cardi B has publicly described the other as a partner, and neither has addressed the growing rumours surrounding their repeated meetings.
Until either of them chooses to clarify the situation, their connection will remain a subject of curiosity for fans watching their increasingly frequent appearances together.
